Get Involved to Change the Lives of Children
You play a major role in creating opportunities for young people, especially those in state custody or in foster care, and allowing them to become self-sufficient, successful contributors to society. Your donations of time, money and other resources keep our doors open and our programs running. And by doing that, we’re able to continue changing lives. Each year, over a thousand people give of their time, talents, and resources to provide opportunities for children and youth in our care. Your involvement directly makes a difference in the life of a young person.
There are four main ways to get involved with Monroe Harding:
Become a Foster Parent – There is no greater calling than to provide a home for a child in need. Foster parents who can commit to nurture, teach and strengthen children and youth make a lasting impact and create hope for a better future. If you live in Tennessee, Contact Us to learn more.
Mentor a youth – Mentors help the young men and women in our residential programs by being a source of support, encouragement and friendship. The time commitment for this position is an hour once a week which is flexible to accommodate your schedule. Contact Us to learn more.
Volunteer – Monroe Harding is always in need of people to help us make a difference in the lives of the young people we serve. Organizations, companies, church groups, and individuals have a huge impact. Click here to view different volunteer opportunities or Contact Us to learn more.
Donate – We are always in need of items such as clothing, household items, and school supplies. You can click here for the current list of the needs we have for the youth in our care. Monetary donations can be made by cash, check, or credit card. We can also accept stock transfers and assist you with planned giving.
