Nashville, TN (November 3, 2017) – Foster care organization Monroe Harding is proud to announce a partnership with Little River Band for a holiday concert on Tuesday, December 12 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville. Special guest performers include Sixwire, Stranger Friends, and Andrea Zonn. Tickets range from $15-$75.

Known for hits like “Cool Change” and “Reminiscing,” Little River Band has staged its Carols by Candlelight concerts in numerous cities for more than a decade. This is the first time the band will bring the event to Nashville. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Monroe Harding and their services for children and youth in foster care.

“We are thrilled that the Little River Band has chosen Monroe Harding as their community partner for such a special event,” said Sarah Brock, Monroe Harding’s Marketing & Community Relations Manager. “The holidays can be a particularly difficult time for children in foster care and we appreciate Little River Band, and all the artists, raising awareness for those in foster care and celebrating their spirit with beautiful music.”

Little River Band’s lead singer Wayne Nelson said, “Christmas should be a special time of year for kids and families … and hope. Sadly there are some forgotten kids that have neither. Monroe Harding has been caring for those kids for over a century. Let’s help them continue their great work! On December 12, we’ll provide the music; you’ll provide the hope.
