The need for safe and affordable housing for young adults in Nashville aging out of foster care or pursuing their postsecondary education continues to grow.  Monroe Harding is happy to share that in August we are expanding our supportive housing program to meet these needs! Since 1992, we have been a leader in providing supportive housing with caring staff for young adults in Nashville. In partnership with Tennessee’s Department of Children’s Services, Woodbine Community Organization, and Piedmont Natural Gas we plan to add two new houses for a total of ten rooms. Through our supportive housing program, we help young adults transition toward independence by emphasizing continued education and/or employment; assisting with transportation and food support; social, emotional, and life skills training; and, connections to community resources.

We Need Your HELP as we make these houses into homes for 10 young people! There are many ways that you, your company, or church can be involved from sponsoring a room, hosting a drive, or buying things directly off our Amazon wish lists. All the instructions can be found below and please reach out to Mariela at donate@monroeharding.org or 629-888-0717 if you have questions.
